I'm writing this blog to celebrate quirkiness in a city that doesn't always appreciate it (Los Angeles). I initially hoped to make scads of money doing this while working at home. Unfortunately, blogging doesn't really pay the bills! It is fun and therapeutic, however, so I keep blogging away!

In my previous life (before becoming a mother), I worked for over 17 years at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) conducting reviews, research, and program audits for the U.S. Congress. I just landed a full-time gig for a really cool internet firm that just got acquired by a really big internet firm (rhymes with rBay)!

I currently reside in the Los Angeles area with my husband and beautiful, eight-year-old daughter.
